Ahmadi Muslims believe that the Holy Qur’an is complete and final without any doubt and is to be followed till the end of the time. The Holy Qur'an states that one should believe in Allah, the Last Day, the Angels, His books and His prophets. It also states that Allah alone determines His Decree. (See Holy Qur'an, 2:177; 25:2) And who has faith in these five articles is MUSLIM.
The Kalimah Tayyeba is the basic doctrine of Ahmadi Muslims and Islam. It is: "La ilaha ilAllaho Muhammadur rasoolAllah." There is no God but Allah, and Muhammad is His messenger.
Ahmadis believe in observance of Prayer five times a day, paying Zakat, fasting during Ramadhan, and Pilgrimage to the house of Allah.
The basic difference between Ahmadi and Non Ahmadi Muslims is the interpretation of Holy Qur'an and Hadiths about the appearance of Promised Messiah and Imam Mahdi in the latter days of Muslims.
Ahmadi Muslims believe that Jesus (as) had died and someone from Ummah was suppose to come under the name/title and status of Jesus (as). Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as) of Qadian claimed that he was the Messiah and the Mahdi as had been prophesied by the Holy Prophet Muhammad (saw) that in the latter days when moral and spiritual values would be in decline among the Muslims, the Messiah and Mahdi would appear and revive Islam. He would present Islam in its original purity and beauty and would establish the superiority of Islam over all other faiths.
We believe that Holy Prophet Muhammad (saw) is Khatam-un-Nabeen (Qur'an, 33:40) and is the final prophet till the end of time. We do not believe in another Prophet after our Beloved Prophet Muhammad (saw), rather we believe that Hadhrat Ahmad of Qadian was the same Messiah and Mahdi who was to come as Subordinate Prophet.
According Non Ahmadis, incarnation of Jesus (as) believed to be physically alive in heaven and are waiting to see him landing physically from heavens. Jews had also waited for the return of Elijah (Ilyas) the same way. This kind of fallacious faith was common for all the three great religions. It will never be fulfilled in the literal sense. Jesus Christ and his disciples were persecuted on misconceptions and so are Hazrat Mirza Saheb and his followers.
Allah’s judgment is conclusive and Non Ahmadi Muslims may wait till the doom's day but NO one will ever return flying the sky to give them back their lost powers.
