‘Night of MERAJ’ شب معراج

‘Will they not, then, meditate upon the Qur’an? Had it been from anyone other than Allah, they would surely have found therein much disagreement.’ (Quran 4:82) 

It is confirmed from Holy Quran that on the Night of Meraj, the journey of Muhammad (saw) was Spiritual not physical. Allah says that Prophet (saw) was shown KASHF, as is confirmed in Surah Najam: ‘The heart of the Prophet was not untrue to that which he saw. Will you then dispute with him about what he saw? And certainly, he saw Him a second time also,’ (53:11-13)

Through this KASHF, Prophet (saw) was shown this place (الْمَسْجِدِ الْاَقْصَا) TWICE and not BAITUL MUQADAS in Jerusalem. We should differentiate between the words Al QUDS and Al AQSA. QUDS means MUQDAS that is with SEAN ( س) and AQSA is with SAAD (ص ) meaning DISTANT!

The Kashf or the revelation was Surah Bani Isra'il (17:1):

 سُبْحٰنَ الَّذِىْۤ اَسْرٰى بِعَبْدِهٖ لَيْلاً مِّنَ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَـرَامِ اِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ الْاَقْصَا الَّذِىْ بٰرَكْنَا حَوْلَهٗ لِنُرِيَهٗ مِنْ اٰيٰتِنَا‌ؕ اِنَّهٗ هُوَ السَّمِيْعُ الْبَصِيْرُ

"Glory be to Him Who carried His servant by night from the MASJID HARAM (Sacred Mosque) to MASJID AQSA (Distant Mosque), the environs of which We have blessed, that We might show him some of Our Signs. Surely, He alone is the Hearing, the Seeing."

Who came from AQSATUL MADINA (DISTANT TOWN) who said to the UMATEY MOHAMMADIYA? In Holy Quran (36:21) ‘And from the farthest part (MASJID AQSA) of the town there came a man running. He said, ‘O my people, follow the Messengers,’ And, he says (Quran (36:22-31): ‘And what reason have I that I should not worship Him Who has created me, and unto Whom you will be brought back? ‘Shall I take others beside Him as gods? If the Gracious God should intend me any harm, their intercession will avail me naught, nor can they rescue me. ‘In that case I should indeed be in manifest error. ‘I believe in your Lord; so listen to me.’It was said to him, ‘Enter Paradise.’ He said, ‘O, would that my people knew, ‘How graciously my Lord has granted me forgiveness and has made me of the honoured ones!’And We sent not down against his people, after him, any host from heaven, nor did We need to send down any. It was but a single blast and lo! they were extinct. Alas for My servants! there comes not a Messenger to them but they mock at him. Have they not seen how many generations We have destroyed before them, and that they never return to them?’

   

In the light of above explanations from the QURAN, should give the clarity and precise understanding about the appearance of Promised Massiah at MASJIDUL AQSA. The location of this place was revealed to Prophet Mohammad (saw) on the Night of MERAJ.

The promised Massiah and Mahdi who initiated the Ahmadiya Movement from QADIAN that is located in INDIA, where Masjid al AQSA is located. This was that prophecy in Quran of Surah Bani Israel (ISRA) which was clearly fulfilled in 1889.

Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad has forbidden Jihad with Sword

Promised Messiah's words are turning out to be true !

Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, the Founder of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in Islam has been branded as Kafir is that he has denounced Jihad. In his writings, he has given an exposition of the kind of Jihad which Allah has forbidden. The Jihad which he has denounced consists in propagating Islam at the point of sword. Such a Jihad has no authority in the Holy Quran or the Traditions of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The Holy Quran rejects it by pronouncing there should be no compulsion in religion (2:256). The Promised Messiah explains that early wars of Islam were fought in self defence only and that Islam strongly condemns those ignorant Muslims who seek to become Ghazis by killing innocent non-Muslims.

There is a lesson for the pro-Jihad Maulvis. The growth of such horrible doctrines among the Muslims, has done lasting injury to the cause of Islam and created an abhorrence for it in the hearts of other nations. They have no confidence in their sympathy so long as the dangerous doctrine os Jihad finds favour with them. They cannot form a favourable opinion except of such of them as do not lead strictly religious lives and are not very scrupulous about their religious beliefs. For all these misunderstanding none but the Muslims themselves are responsible. 

The blame of depriving a whole world of the recognition of Islamic truths lie at the door of the Maulvis who taught doctrine repulsive to the nature of man. How could the religion be from God, whose teachings needed the flash of the sword to get an entrance into the human heart? Such considerations were enough to keep back people from the acceptance of truth. The true religion is that which on account of its inherent property and power and its convincing arguments is more powerful than the keenest sword, not that which depends upon steel for its existence.

And We have expounded the (Quran) to them in diverse ways that they may take heed, but most men would reject everything but disbelief. If We had pleased, We would have surely raised a warner in every city; So obey not the disbelievers and strive against them by means of (the Quran) with a mighty striving. (25:50-52)

  

The destruction of Afghanistan continues & Pakistan is following not far behind !

Hazrat Mirza Bashiruddin Mahmud Ahmed, the 2nd Head of Ahmadiyya Movement had warned Pakistan, not to emulate Afghanistan in persecuting Ahmdis, lest their Lord, GOD of retribution, do the same as he did to that country. (Al Fazl. 19/5/1947)

In the year 1903, a renowned scholar, Sahibzada Maulvi Abdul Latif accepted Hazrat Mirza Sahib as the promised Massiah. A council of Ulema passed ab edict to stone him to death. The king approved it. The victim refused to retract. He was brought on open ground. People including the king surrounded and showered stones. On hearing this Hazrat Mirza Sahib administered a curse on the soil of Afghanistan. "Now what to entail this merciless murder of the king unheard under the heaven, is awaited to be seen. O, you ignorant Ameer, what were you up to ? You made worthy of your own destruction by committing this merciless murder. O, the soil of Kabul, stand witness (to this pronouncement) that you stand charged of having committed a serious crime." O, ye ill fated land, you are cast down in the eyes of GOD and turned to be the land of a monstrous outrage." "Kingdom was soon liquidated and the country fell from Allah's grace. Hundred years of misery, humiliation and destruction that they had to endure have no parallel in the comity of Nations.
